Sketches done mostly at work.

Told you I was doing shit. In celebration of the release of The Dark Knight on DVD, I give you ball point pen Joker.

Wow, it’s been awhile.
So realism is a bitch. This is why I tend to stay away from this area. But here’s a pencil drawing I’m working on. Sorry for the crappy scan, it’s a big pic and hard to scan. It’s from the same photo as used in the one from my sketch book, but this one is aimed more at accuracy and done in pencil instead of pen.
So I won’t bore you with the details of it all, but lets just say it hasn’t been a good past few weeks. I’ve only really had time to doodle bullshit at work. Every thing else are projects for other people. So instead of having blank spots here, I present to you:
Work doodles!
Work doodles are exactly what they sound like. Bull shit sketched down on paper while in boring stupid ass meetings or other such retardedness. Lucky for me, my job gives me plenty of time to sketch and draw so here’s some of what I’ve done and why.
Click the pic for king size!
A rather confused Death. Why confused? Well, probably because what ever was going on in the meeting I was in was presented in an overly complicated way for no real reason.
Eye see you! Quick, easy to draw and simple. Probably didn’t have a lot of time when I was doing this one
Cute face. I was daydreaming for sure.

Wishing I was spiderman. So I could be properly warned when stupidity approaches.
Prep work for a tattoo some one is asking for. Gay I know. But hey, fuck you.
So to set the stage, the song starts out with a beat. It sounds like there are a lot of drummers on stage while this is going on. So I’ve broken it down into two groups. Greater deamons and Lesser deamons. So here’s 4 quick studies on the heads of the Deamon drummers. Basically they will all look the same. Same features, but their horns and certain facial features will separate them. I haven’t completely settled on these yet. I’m not sure if I want 3 or 4 large drummers on stage yet or not. Hair and horns are going to be the big factor in what changes their appearance. Their design is a nod to the devil from Legend and the balrog from Lord of the Rings.
Colour studies coming next.
